The viz was very poor so we had to be content with a couple of circuits. No major problems experienced. Kit 566 has taken 5 years to build and I must thank my co builders Ian Swankie and more recently Goff Moore for tolerating my moods. Also thanks to Ian Rickard, an invaluable source of help and remedies, Terry Clark for being himself, Barry Goldsack our always obliging instructor and Pete Jeffers, our test pilot who oozes confidence. I installed the strobe "box" under the baggage bay. Now I need to wire it from the wing root to switches on the panel and to the strobe box in back. I am looking for advice on where in the fuse at the wing root to route the wiring. The wires come out of the wing root aft of the spar. I have a space under the door sill to route wires. I am just trying to decide on a good method and placement for the connection at the wing root, and routing the strobe cable back to the box. Happy Holidays, Kevin A211 XS 914 mono. I did this because all my antenna cables route under the port door sill and I wanted to keep the antenna wires as far as possible from the power wiring. I run the power from the power supply to the wings under the baggage bay floor and out the front into the "well" area between the baggage bay front and seat back. From there through the fuselage into the wing root area. I then connect the wiring to trailer wiring plugs as recommended by 'Lectric Bob Nuckolls. You can go to my build web page, thence to the last album (Y6 Q4 2007), page 2 bottom for pics of the external setup. This shows where the wiring exits the fuselage and the connectors used there and on the wing roots. There are additional pics of the internal set-up in earlier build albums. Let me know if you need further clarification.
