Now how bout some pictures, cause we all love pictures craig -----Original Message----- From: owner-europa-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-europa-list-server@matronics.com]On Behalf Of Peter Field Sent: Sunday, 23 December 2007 8:23 PM Subject: Europa-List: G-CHOX I am proud to announce that G-CHOX took to the skies at Blackbushe at 3pm on Thursday 20th December for its maiden flight in the very capable hands of Pete Jeffers. The viz was very poor so we had to be content with a couple of circuits. No major problems experienced. Kit 566 has taken 5 years to build and I must thank my co builders Ian Swankie and more recently Goff Moore for tolerating my moods. Also thanks to Ian Rickard, an invaluable source of help and remedies, Terry Clark for being himself, Barry Goldsack our always obliging instructor and Pete Jeffers, our test pilot who oozes confidence. Just another 4.75 hours before we get a go! Peter Field See our website at www.gchox.co.uk 2:02 PM 2:02 PM 14:02 17:27

Kevin, There was a note from Andy in a Tech Talk (Issue 41) that addresses where to bring pitot static lines through the side of the fuselage. The preferred location is in front of the seat back near the top of the spar aperture. The comment given there is "due to the proximity of the wing lift sockets (quite important parts) the positioning of the holes through the fuselage side in the area is important". I used this same location for the wiring to each wing. The wiring in the wing is aft of the spar, but there is plenty of room (the wing faring is big) for it to pass over the spar to enter the fuselage. Hope this helps.
