Subject: Trigear Trailer for Sale and ZAON MRX
Having just taken-up the offer of hangarage at Old Sarum, my converted
caravan trailer is for sale. No beauty, but highly practical and well
insulated, with wing cradles and electric winch. Your for circa St600.
Contact me if interested off-forum at freefolk@screaming.net or
01425-653353.
Ian asked for my comments on the Zaon MRX PCAS. I wouldn't be without
it, although the lack of mode C on so many aircraft in the UK is quite
alarming. However, awareness of this shortcoming hopefully improves the
quality of my visual scan, which further increases when the MRX starts
shouting! I am saddened that none of the European aviation authorities
saw fit to consider TIS uplink when mandating Mode S. Banging on how
mode S was necessary for aviation safety, and then not including the one
item that might save us in uncontrolled airspace (and convince us to
spend the St2000) beggared belief.

I have had periods of drop out from my Skymap, which on reflection have
mainly been North to South or South to North. Going North over the Lake
district and both North and South over the Pyrenees, both at over 4,000
feet, and both for periods of 10 minutes or more. The aerial is internal on
the coaming. This was with a my backup, a handheld Garmin Co- Pilot,
continuing to work as normal.
I also have a newer Skymap in my RV - anyone know how I find out how many
Satellites my 2006 Skymap 111c tracks?

My experience is that I've never had a drop-out with the 12 channel receiver
(Garmin 195, installed with the integral antenna at the top of the panel).
The firewall also has spray-on RFI shielding.

Subject: | Drawings or pictures of Outrigger Assembly |
Dear Europa List,
I'm the owner of a Europa Classic Monowheel kit serial number A012. With that
in mind I am looking for either an exploded view, photographs or a better assembly
drawing of the outrigger/flap mechanism. I just seem to be at a loss with
the section views that my manual shows.
You know what they say "a picture is worth a thousand words," and with that I will
close this thread.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Regards,

Subject: | Mitchell Engine Instruments |
Hi Folks,
I've just finished up installing a Grand Rapids EIS in my panel as part
of my Panel Upgrade project (EFIS will be later this year).
It means I do have some 2 1/4 in engine gauges for sale if anyone is
interested. They are the Michell ones (backlit) and I will include the
appropriate senders.
New they are about $50 plus senders for the oil pressure and temperature
- so maybe $20 each including senders - or best offer.
Basically they comprise Oil Pressure, Oil Temperature, one marked Water
Temperature (but actually was measuring Cylinder Head Temperature),
Voltmeter and Fuel Pressure Gauge.
If you want to see how I had them located (Beech Bonanza style) check out.
http://ourworld.cs.com/MJKTuck/instpanel.htm
Click on the instrument for more details.
The Fuel Pressure gauge I added later in place of the compass which
always pointed the way to the Tacho positioned next to it (doh!).
If you are interested contact me offline.
