Flying and landing Juliet Oscar i did no feel any need for the AoA system, so i
have decided not to install the AoA tube. If i can make somebody happy with the
stuff, i't for sale for a very low price.

William-
I fitted one and am just about to close the wings. If you need photos I have them.
I used the Getz base unit mounted in the wing and the probe slides onto
the Getz base. Buying both the probe and the Getz base gets a little expensive,
but it seems to work just fine.

Sorry, forgot to mention the static port. I plan to use the static port from the
Europa ASI for both. I have both the Europa ASI and the Dynon. I will use
the Europa for the steam gauge and the Dynon probe for the Dynon.I mounted the
Getz base forward of the Europa ASI against the spar. I used an aluminum plate
provided by Getz and reinforced it with 2 layers of BID about 8 X 12 inches
about and 1/8 inch plywood the size of the plate.

Subject: | Re: Fuel System - What should I add? |
A few thoughts. The PFA will accept alternatives to the sight guage
- they require two independent methods of determining fuel quantity.
They have accepted our system based on the avalec capacitance gauge
(what ever you think of it) as one and the other is the ability to
dip the tank (as per 150's etc) via a 1/2"BSP hole in the Avalec
mounting plate. They made no comment about loosing the sight gauge.
Grahams tank fittings were developed from ours and again the PFA
(sorry LAA) are happy with our system. It is also aluminum fuel line
with SS braided teflon hose connecting to the engine itself. There
are some pics in the forum gallery. I have the PFA application
somewhere if anyone in the UK needs the reference to help with their
own applications to LAA.

Paul

Is there anyone within striking distance of central UK (Derby to be
specific) who would be willing to sell enough resin for us to do the
tail plane mod?

Subject: | Carburetor Synchronization |
Hi Folks,
I watched with interest the Rotax-owner.com video on carburetor
synchronization.
Anyone know where one can get the single dial (dual pointer) sync tool
shown on the video.
Lockwood only seem to sell the dual dial version.
Any other tools out there one can use?
