Hi! All
Just to crave the indulgence of the Europa Club Membership since I can't
fly on this Easter day and pass on some pictures of our delightful "pad"
with Council Tax just having risen by GBP =A3 250pa to GBP =A3 2,500pa!
Not
bad for a pensioner ...Either the house goes or the 'plane?

Bob,
Very nice. I bet the whole country ground to a halt with all that snow. We
had alittle bit here as well: about 4.2m (14 feet) so far, temperature fore
cast for tomorrow night is minus 19C. What would that do to your plumbing ?
Cheers,

Hi! Karl
........not wishing to start a competition ! Yes I'm sure there's many
who would be pleased at such a small inconvenience! However the roads
are now clear (in this area) very rapid thaw but anticipate some
localized flooding.

Karl,
Better weather is heading your way, I finally got flying again this
last week, for the first time since November.
Yesterday, being one of the few nice Saturdays we have had, the
airport was really busy, a couple of the local flight
schools are now bringing in lots of students from India and China,
makes for some interesting communications with the
controllers.
I ended up holding about 15 miles out, waiting for a slowdown in the
traffic, and eventually was let in with a couple of other planes.
Descending from 4,000 in calm air, I made excellent groundspeed, A
minute or so later the controller called and said 'Bravo Zulu India,
what sort of
Cessna are you ! "
I only wish I had the wheel pants and constant speed prop re-installed.

In years past, we have met at the Europa booth at 11:00 AM every day. I might
suggest that we do the same thing this year. Lynne and I will be there for a
couple of days, but not sure which ones.

Subject: | Rotax recommended oils |
Since Pennzoil dropped off the approved list, I have not had much
luck locating an oil recommended for
occasional use with leaded gas.
Has anyone in N America found a source for Mobil 1 clean 7500 ?
Anyone tried the AV-9 oil from Rotaxparts.net, (California Power
Systems), or know anything about this oil ?

Hi Dave,
Vavloline Duablend was still on the list last time I checked. I am
using up the last of my Pennzoil at the moment so I will need to
change as well pretty soon.
Cheers, Paul

Just curious, how many of you fitted the main gear leg sockets before
you bonded the top on.

Hi! Craig.
To do the sockets and bracing webs is a pure pain in the neck anyway so
with the top on is doubly awkward. However you need to make lots of
effort to support the lower fuselage half in the manner to which it
should be for dimensional width and alignment.
