I've spent thirteen years and 5500 hours on the build so far. 121 is a classic monowheel. The airframe is complete aft of the firewall and signed off with all relevant mandatory mods done, including the latest mod 73 (with sb15) and mod 74. I've also included the following optional mods: 29, 33 , 34, 43 (retaining the original rudder push-rod using Graham Singleton's bellcrank), 49, 50, 51, 54 and 61b (Europa's very neat stall warner), together with Ted Gladstone's folding door stays and my own PFA mod 10710. This is a Lyndhurst fuel contents sensor in a separate fuel stack that allows a visual pre-flight check on contents. Jigging has been used as much as possible for high standards (that's where many of the hours went!), and I have a workshop log and a photographic record of each task. Situated near Prestwick airport, Scotland. Major components are held in wheeled cradles. If you are interested please contact me off list or on 01292 442513 Best wishes to you all, Gerry Cole ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 08:01:01 AM PST US Subject: Europa-List: Useful weather website (Europe) From: "JonSmith" Hi, The following is the address of an aviation weather website that someone told me about and I'd not seen before. Thought it was quite good. You can adjust the map scale as required, and select if you want TAFS or actuals, then just point at an airfield and the weather is displayed. Oh - top right, click the flag to select English if required! www.orbifly.com/ORBITEST/metmap.php Cheers, Jon Visit - www.EuropaOwners.org ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 02:59:05 PM PST US From: "JR Gowing" Subject: Re: Europa-List: Completed monowheel airframe for sale Dear Gerry You did not say how old you were! I am 77 and done most of what you have on my kit no. 327 more than 6000 hrs or so and I too have concerns about whether I can finish the job. I have not heard of the Lyndhurst Fuel Sensor and would like to know how you arranged it "in a separate fuel stack that allows a visual pre-flight check on contents." I would be pleased if you felt like telling me and the other list members enough to give us a feel for the project ) Maybe more questions might arise if you could tolerate them.
