Measured from the ground to the innnermost flaps trailing edge corner. My flap angle is as per manual 27 degrees. My main wheel is AirTrac 6.00x7 and pressure today was 2 bars. When removing the plane from the trailer, flaps go very near the mudguards of the trailer. Ground clearance w/ flaps deployed is an important factor. Any idea what grade of stainless the normal aircraft disc substitutes are made of? I've tried without success to find out. Incidentally I have a new supply of these for anyone who doesn=92t have one.. I have just secured the European marketing rights for a brilliant new product that magnifies the colesman window of the altimeter. Having used it for the last month or so. I can categorically state its brilliant, especially in turbulent conditions. These units are made by the same company that manufacture Cannon camera lenses and are imported from Japan. They are fitted in less that 30 seconds and come with everything needed to do the job. The FAA have confirmed that they do not require certification as they are classed as =93temporary=94 and can easily be removed if necessary. Although I don=92t think anyone ever would once you have tried it. They retail at =A339.95 UKP plus =A32 UKP for P&P. I am offering a =A35 UKP discount to our members prior to marketing in the aviation press. If anyone is interested or would like to see a picture of the unit fitted contact me and I will send one by return. Kind Regards Alan ________________________________ Message 9 _____________________________________ Time: 04:17:34 PM PST US From: Trevpond@aol.com Subject: Re: Europa-List: Drilled brake Rotors (disks) Duncan, I had stainless discs on my ARV - they don't last very long - too soft. The surface was dark grey, some sort of treatment. They used to sell through ACS as a replacemnet for the awful Cleveland disks but I haven't seen them advertised for many years Graham Trevpond@aol.com wrote: > Duncan, > > I had stainless discs on my ARV - they don't last very long - too soft. > > > Trev Pond > G-LINN > > * > > > * -- Graham Singleton Tel: +441629820187 Mob: +447739582005 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Matronics Email List Services ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post A New Message europa-list@matronics.com UN/SUBSCRIBE http://www.matronics.com/subscription List FAQ http://www.matronics.com/FAQ/Europa-List.htm Web Forum Interface To Lists http://forums.matronics.com Matronics List Wiki http://wiki.matronics.com Full Archive Search Engine http://www.matronics.com/search 7-Day List Browse http://www.matronics.com/browse/europa-list Browse Digests http://www.matronics.com/digest/europa-list Browse Other Lists http://www.matronics.com/browse Live Online Chat! http://www.matronics.com/chat Archive Downloading http://www.matronics.com/archives Photo Share http://www.matronics.com/photoshare Other Email Lists http://www.matronics.com/emaillists Contributions http://www.matronics.com/contribution ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These Email List Services are sponsored solely by Matronics and through the generous Contributions of its members.
