For the record. I have traced the cause of my rising oil pressure problem
=2C and I though a feedback could be usefull.

Moisture had found it's way into the connection at the sender end. I have b
een flying through some wet stuff recently. There was an indication of oxid
ation which would not have helped.
Once cleaned up. and sealed=2C the pressure gauge returned normal reading.

My thanks to Duncan=2C Ivor=2C and Roger who responded and got me thinking
      in the right direction.

My 912s Rotax has performed very reliably for over 400 hours=2C but I am be
ginning to notice that the oil pressure is rising. The pressure normally si
ts at 4 bar=2C but it is now rising to 6 bar in flight=2C and drops back on

      Hi Trevor,
      yes , ok, point taken,
reminds me of when unleaded was introduced to the UK in the early 80's, - "don't
      use
unleaded - it will burn out the valves", i guess were going to be busy avoiding
a lot of broken down cars and motorcycles on the side of the road...

maybe if someone attending the rotax factory flyin could mention
it and possibly get a response and post it,

I was rummaging through the early emails in January, and ran across a plea
to save this airport from the home-builders' clutches. Naturally anything
valuable is up for grabs with these people.
I attributed it to Alan burrows - apparently in error, as he has
denied any contact. Therefore I am without a source but continue to be
      curious./
If you know of the source of the news regarding the destruction of
this historic site, could you email me (on the side I guess)?
      Thanks,

The ideal warning should be in a HUD, but that's a touch effete in a Europa.

Well, Fergus, you are incorrect~~ We have been selling a poor mans "HUD"
option for our RiteAngle III / Companion AOA system for over 7 years.
Won't advertise on the web, but feel free to e-mail & I'll personally
answer all inquiries. & website address. Well under US $ 800.00 Simple,

      Elbie,
You have me! I admit I was unaware of your product and let me
      apologise.
However, I never said a HUD didn't exist, but wasn't the RiteAngle sold with
      an instrument
      dial and needle initially?
....and I really meant a HUD to be the original {a reflective glass
      with collinated
beam per all the gunsights since WWII]. That seems effete for a Europa to
      me. In fact my
varied LED on the coaming is - I suppose - a "Head's Up Display" of a kind,
so I guess I am wrong....
At least I'll hope you agree that "a needle down on the panel is
      useless".
If I ask you here, perhaps it won't appear to be advertising since
      you were
      questioned:
"Does the Warner offer other angles such as duration angle, or best
      glide angle?"
In any event I suspect I join the majority in wishing EM Aviation
      every success.
