A new member registered on EuropaOwners and this was his first post. I can not vouch for the validity of the post but feel obligated to pass it on. In these current economic times free is still free (I hope) and this could help some builder get one step closer to flying. Below is the link to the post and text. Steved ************************************************** http://www.europaowners.org/viewtopic.php?p=22877#22877 Hi, I have just recently fitted a glass cockpit system into my europa tri gear, therefor i have no need for the standard instruments. Just mail me your address and i will ship them right away. Thanks Jarred ************************************************** Visit - www.EuropaOwners.org

Jim/Tim et al, My tri-gear has the same left turning tendency. Similar left turn/ left wing heavy posts crop up on the other Matronics aircraft lists. I tend to think that prop wash is part of the problem. Dave A061 On 7-Mar-09, at 7:08 AM, Jim Brown wrote: > Tim > > I have no experience in the Tri Gear. You will get the hang of it Bob. I'll never forget the wise words of an Australian instructor: "It's just like riding a bycycle". And while i never flew with the guy and landing has nothing to do with riding a bike, those words helped me more then many hours of training. The funny concidence is that you have to react before falling (over). You have to feel what's happening. You already have all the rest of the good advice... Yesterday morning I backed my trailer up to the door of the local smash repairer's spray booth, unloaded the complete aircraft on its trolleys straight into the booth, closed the doors, dialled up 50 degrees C on the control and turned on the heat. It took a whole 10 min. At 2:00 am this morning, I turned the heat off after 16 hours and at a more respectable hour later this morning, I winched the lot back into the trailer and drove off. I reckon I'm fortunate !! In the next few weeks, I'll be going back to start ny next learning experience . . . . painting !! Ok, I know this is old hat for a lot of you blokes, but I've been looking forward to this moment for a long time. Too long in fact !! Kingsley from Oz. do not archive

Yes Bob, I got it too. I suspect the name "CURTIS WOOD FOWLER" may be an alias for a certain Mr Wilson of whom you are very familiar. Certainly, Mr Fowler would be every bit as honourable I'm sure !! I'm surprised Karel never debunked it but maybe he doesn't know anything about it. Strange things happen with all this marvellous technology we have nowadays. I have even been getting spam from MYSELF lately !!
