Hi Frans, some thoughts more: With "moveable device" there is no trailer insurance at all - towing cars insurance covers everything.you need in traffic. Aircrafts hull insurance covers nothing when in public road and an accident happens. And you are probably right: if somebody hits your plane by his car - they will claim it was your (trailers and planes) fault. And I do understand. Many drivers when they notice A PLANE ON THE ROAD just forget they are drivers and only looked with bulging eyes this amazing sight they have never seen before. I have taken an extra insurance which covers my plane everytime I move it from my home via specified and named route to the airport (that is about 20 km). I use only small roads and my strong recommendation is - avoid highways and motorways if possible! I never tow without a "safety" car of my friend following just behind the trailer. He is watching everything is ok and "protecting" my plane - nobody can drive between he and plane. That is very valuable: once he called me that trailers (monowheel) ramp has dropped down and plane was just moving anxiously between the wings. Only the tail wheel lock keeped it there. Happily I had sideguards there and no damages. Later I completed ramp security locks. Without safety car...I do not want even imagine what could have happen. For extra safety I stop every 5 to 10 km to check all is OK. As I wrote I feel trailering is the most riskiest part of flying (to damage the plane). At least for me it has been so. Tow safe. It was a pleasure to meet with all Europaers at SnF. That is why I am so late to add my contribution to this thread. After installation of my 912S engine back in 2005, I made some measurements of the return flow using a stopwatch and a calibrated plastic can receiving the returned fuel. This was done on the ground with the engine stopped and the electric pump on. This is what I found: - with the .7 millimeter restrictor supplied by Europa: 12 liters/hour with fuel pressure 4 PSI - with a .35 millimeter restrictor as specified by Rotax: 3,5 liters/hour with fuel pressure 4,8 PSI >From my records, the following in flight fuel pressures (with the electric fuel pump off) were measured: - with the .7 millimeter restrictor, cruising at 7500 ft: 3 PSI - with the .35 millimeter restrictor, cruising at 2000-3000 ft: 3,2 to 3,8 PSI - with the .35 millimeter restrictor, cruising at 11500-12000 ft: 3,5 PSI Due to the lower fuel pressures recorded in flight, I assume the return flow is lower than what I measured on the ground. This seems to be consistent with what Svein measured below. Hope that helps. We are currently 5 planes, 4 Europas & 1 RV4. Our aim is to arrive around 12.15 local time and we have booked to lunch aux Pecheurs d'Etaples, rather than cycling into Le Touquet, and have booked for 1300 local. If you would like to join us can I suggest you ring them and ask them to enlarge the table for you? The Dynon requires a 0-5 volt varying input and the probes are capacitance type from Pete at Airworld ie resistive type. Dynon have advised their resistance to voltage converter is not suitable and Pete says dynon should know?! I know some of you are worldly wise in the electrics side and might have encountered this one and I don't want additional analogue gauges.
