Hi all,
Has someone already implemented or has plans to implement this mod on the lower
cowling?
With more than 30C over here in summer, getting out of the yellow for both CHT
and oil Temperature of my 914 is a real challenge when flying circuits or not
far from the airfield!
Jacques.

Rick,
I don't think you will get any extra speed out of a constant speed,
just quicker take offs, easier landings and perhaps better economy.
Having had the pleasure of constant speed, but the subsequent
aggravation from lack of reliability, I am now quite happy with a
fixed pitch.
Flying out of paved runways, the performance is fine, even at MGW,
which with my 220 lb co-pilot is usually the case.
For me the cost of the constant speed and the extra weight on the
nose were just not worth it.
I'm sure those who are happy with their C/S props will beg to differ.
