 I made a rigid glass fibre cradle, using the wing as a mould, and then lined it
foam from a camping sleep mat. Holds the wings steady on the trailer. Works
well for me - almost no rubbing.

My existing trailer wing cradle / slings (the original rubber straps) are now perished
and cracked and need replacing.? I have already lined the originals with
a thin carpet material to stop chafing and rubbing of the leading edge and
wing surfaces.

?

What do people advise?? A like-for-like replacement or is there a better alternative
out there to use that is strong, flexible and does not chafe, rub or mark
the wings in any way?
