Anyone for a DOTH tomorrow Thursday 16th. Flyer has Seething, Tibbenham and
Gloucestershire whilst LAA has Lands End and Bagby (a bit further afield). I
have not been to anyone of them so have no idea about their bacon butties.

It appears as if the plane was circling before disappearing on 15.9.2010 at 19:20.
The two male passengers were on their way from Holland (Texel Fly-Inn ?) to
      CZ.

Gives me the chills every time and I feel sad for the two, their families and
      friends.

The owner and pilot was Jiri Vicharek from CZ and his Canadian friend.

I flew with him once and he was a good pilot and a very nice person.

The plane was a Europa Xs Monowheel with Rotax 914T and Airmaster Prop
      and
      based at Benisov /CZ

According to my information they were coming in bad weather conditions
      and
tried to land somewhere (airfield Sch=F6ngleina).

They crashed in the surrounding forest.

Jiri was married and has had 3 children.

I am very sad about this,

      Hi Steve et al,
I can't make tomorrow. I had decided on Gloucester for Friday 18th -
it's a bit unusual to get a free landing there. Can you make that?
      All the best, Paddy

To anyone who was looking for those pictures, Steve (I assume) has
made a new top-level album called "Europa Gatherings and DOTHs" and
my sub-album is now in there.

If you're not sure about how to get to the EuropaOwners Gallery, here
      are the full instructions:

In your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome or
whatever) enter the following in the URL entry box:

      http://www.europaowners.org/index.php

When the page opens, click on the "Gallery" icon at the top.

When the next page opens, click on the top album in the list:

      "Europa Gatherings and DOTHs"

You should now see (among others) the sub-album called "Texel 2009-09
in G-BZTH", so click on that to see a list of photo thumbnails. The
individual photos can be examined in more detail (2 successive
levels) by clicking on the thumbnails.

      regards
