Subject: | Mechanical Fuel Pump |
We need to replace the fuel pump on HI. Its currently fitted with a Pierburg pump.
We ordered a replacement from Skydrive but they are only able to supply the
AC pumps which are slightly bigger and won't therefore fit on a Classic as it
fouls the radiator.
Does anyone know where we may be able to get a Pierburg pump from?
Thanks
Peter

Hi Ian, I sent you a private email but it appears that you didn't
receive it. I tried to call the number above (assuming it is an UK
number so I prefixed it with +44) but the I get a message that the
number is invalid.
What is the best way to contact you?

Hey just think that he has burned up more fuel in that display than a europa
would in several hundred hours of flight time.
We might not the THAT maneuvarable, but still better than a good portion of
the other aircraft out there.

Anyone have a Europa that when flying in formation at 80 knots could
outclimb this much hevier specimen? Perhaps only a few JATO needed? Lets
make that a lot more than a few would need be attached! If we made JATO
vectored, perhaps could even make the backwards flip even close to as
impressive (when wings depart) ;-)

Tropical Chin Intake
To Aussie Builders interested in the subject mod -
I intend buying the Soft Aluminium 20 AWG sheet needed to shape the inside
of the duct on this mod.
I expect to have to buy a 4'x4' sheet to get 350mm x 350mm (1' 10" x 1'
2").
Are there be any Aussie Builders who might like to get a leftover piece from
this purchase?
