Fuel Pressure Switch Thanks Roger, I=92m just having trouble sourcing the bits right now but, hopefully, I will get there in the end. Mike Mike - it was a Bosch Fuel Pressure Switch - Part Number 0 344 101 055 which cost around =A37-8 + shipping several years ago Installation is easy: You need to purchase a barbed adaptor suitable for the fuel line I.D. feeding the carburettors (I bought a plated brass one from my local pneumatic equipment supplier) which allows you to connect it into the fuel line, at or near the return tee, via an additional tee piece. You then need to fabricate a suitable bracket to attach it to the firewall. There may be more elegant ways to make the connection but this works well in my installation.

Fuel Pressure Switch For those of us who perhaps did not plan ahead as well as we should have, there is a neat little self contained digital vibration hour meter available for about $40 US. Same sizing as the standard Hobbs meter. Works well, the down side is that the internal battery is only good for about 7 years. From: "flyingphil2" <ptiller@lolacars.com>
Hi, To those that have gone before me ....... I'm working on the door latches and getting the shoot bolts (DL06) installed inside the DL07 guides. Taking previous advice I'm looking at the dimensions in the manual and what I actually have in front of me. I haven't glued the guides in yet but a dry set up shows that my worst case is on the front door bolts and at worst with the doors latched, I have 10mm of the parallel section (20mm total) of the DL06 protruding. Is that going to be enough? I remember reading about this on the forum ages ago but I can't find the posting in question. Roland, I know it's not in the UK but here is the switch I used on mine and it works well. Oil pressure idiot light that also says "Hey dummy you forgot to turn off your master switch", and runs the Hobbs meter when the engine starts. http://www.bandc.biz/pressureswitchspdt.aspx

May be worth investigating a power genie?? http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/elpages/powergenie.phpOn my 914 am using an oil pressure sender, remote mounted with an extra set of contacts (on and off). I think the switch is reversed so will use a relay to run hobbs. Ron Parigoris
