Not me. I purchased my plane from him 2 year ago. Under the yellow leverguard, you will find the switch to disable the turbo servo micro-controller of the 914. Ron, Good question! What I see directly: - instrument panel with UMA gages, Dynon D10A (10W) and GPS AVMAP (10W), Radio ICOM, fuel flow controller, Airmaster Controller... - fuel pump for the 914 - servo and micro-controller for the 914 - Airmaster servo I avoid putting on the nav lights (5A extra) and strobes except needed otherwise I am hearing the strobes when I am on the gliding path to land... Planning to add a second 40A generator on the back of the engine one of these days. Jacques. Vibration will be awful, so no laminar flow.=0AGraham=0A ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 07:16:53 AM PST US Subject: Europa-List: SnF Engineering Meeting From: "rampil" The Dinner meeting venue was shared by good company. As promised, the prop blade number issue was discussed - for about 20 seconds. -------- Ira N224XS Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=294649#294649 Attachments: http://forums.matronics.com//files/snfdinner_163.jpg ________________________________ Message 4 _____________________________________ Time: 10:10:17 AM PST US From: "Fergus Kyle" Subject: Europa-List: 2-blade props I think the number of blades in our types of machines is mainly ethereal because the power range is so small. The Spit began with 700horse had two wood blades, the -5 had 3, the -6 had 4 and eventually a copy came out with 10 (two contra-rotating 5's) - al to accommodate larger more powerful engines. I think later models had 3 times the prototype's poop. That's why I opted for 3 - I liked the look. The brake is almost completed. Monday or Tuesday, I'll go to the airport after work and get it all connected up and working. As for the Billet pump, it is closer but still has some issues to resolve before I begin the actual installation. I have no doubt that the Billet pump will work as advertised, it's just that no mod, no matter how simple it sounds, ever goes easily. Once I have the new brake system functioning and tested, I'll feel like I can tackle completing the Billet pump.
