I also lost my original - again don't ask!
My replacement behaved just as yours is doing. We eventually noticed
that
the lugs that pop out to lock it in place were slightly protruding even
when
open and a couple of minutes with a file solved the problem.
Regards
Pete

Well Graham - Germans have done many "impossible" things during
centuries...
I have seen a film about this construction (but maybe it was shit who
knows!).
Please remember, they built also the first ever diesel aircraft (Junkers

That should have been also "impossible"...

I suggest that any discussion of prop efficiencies these days,
particularly when diameter is restricted, would benefit from recent
work by Paul Lipps. An article about his props can be found at:
http://www.eaa.org/experimenter/articles/2009-02_elippse.asp
He does not shy away from 3 and 4 bladed designs...

This sounds like the answer for a lot of us!
I will look at this one carefully when I get the cap off.
Then I intend to fit a chain onto the centre of the cap on its iside, and a

My replacement behaved just as yours is doing. We eventually noticed tha
t the lugs that pop out to lock it in place were slightly protruding even w
hen open and a couple of minutes with a file solved the problem.

Pete
