Subject: | DOTH Thu. 20th Fenland |
Hi Folks,
Sorry I haven't managed a DOTH recently, but it appears it could be quite nice
on Thursday, so how about Fenland?
I can't add much more because I've never been there. Voucher in the LAA magazine
- 1200ish as usual.
All the best, Paddy

Subject: | MGL Avionics vs Dynon Attitude Response |
Gidday,
I am very interested in both of these Manufacturers, the MGL Odyssey/Voyager or
the Dynon 180/Skyview. The issues I see are the response rates of their Artificial
Horizons. The MGL seem to have little lag.
I would like to know if the Dynon has a lag, or whether Dynon owners might be able
to take a look at this link and tell me if they think theirs is quicker or
slower. Here is a link.

Also, the MGL seems to be very flexible with mapping solutions, and very tailorable
in how you present your information, as the device can be plugged into a
PC, and all the presentations can be manipulated to an eye pleasing outcome.
I think Dynon is less flexible, but does offer I think 9 presentations, which is
a heck of a lot. Dynon however seems to be far less flexible with the mapping.
In truth, I think I will be using a Garmin AERA as my primary navigation device
with its airspace alarms etc, as the information seems more stable, unless
of course the Dynon mapping and Airspace is stable and reliable, if in fact
I choose that over the MGL Voyager. BUT, the way it presents flight instruments,
principally Attidude, is my primary decider, so back to my original question...................does
the Dynon compare???

Subject: | 914 Non Return Valves in Fuel Supply |
Gidday,
I am off to Spruce in a day or two and am wondering which variety of non return
valve I should consider, the type with a slow bleed off of pressure, or the complete
block variety? Andair offer both and I am unsure which to choose?
