Gidday The first and most important message is: "Europa did NOT act without my authorisation on my credit card". Extenuating circumstances prevail and anyone vaguely interested can contact me off list. I can say that I am quite annoyed to be put in this situation, however, overall, I have been pleasantly surprised by Europas response to my concerns, including phonecalls both last night and tonight, and their recognition of their responsibility in the situation that now results, ironically in my retraction. As I have said, there is an explanation of how this occurred but what we all need to know, is that it appears Europa are now listening. I understand their intention if for things to change, and that staff are being retrained in new procedures they are not used to. We have all heard, as an excuse, that things are changing at Europa, and I hope we see transparency "soon". Like I said, I'm annoyed, frustrated, pleasantly surprised, and anxious for change. So, in conclusion, we CAN trust the current management's concern for their reputation as an indicator of their commitment to their product. Reg Tony Renshaw P.S. The sooner we can see a component's price on the Europa website, and not needing to rely on an e-mail response the better, and have an expectation that the product "already exists", "on a shelf", and if we change our minds, it is no more effort than for a single person to lift it off one location and put it back!

Tony and others, My two bits... Once you get their attention, Europa acts quickly. It's getting their attention that can be the tough part. I sent several e-mails over a couple weeks requesting information. Zero response. Finally called them on a Monday morning during the brief overlap in office hours. Quickly received the necessary information, placed the order and the part was at my home in less than a week. E-mail doesn't seem to work at all. Direct voice contact does seem to work. I guess you guys down under will just have to wait till late in the day to call. To all Europa owners/builders and interested parties This is to remind you all that the first Europa International flyin is scheduled for Popham (EGHP) the weekend of the 11th June. The weekend will also include the Europa Club AGM in the Saturday afternoon, allowing time to fly home after if desired. However it is hoped that as many of you attending will wish to stay over and to this end a barbeque is being laid on (Saturday night) with additional food for Friday night; local brews are also available.. We all hope for a good weekend's weather but we are also making preparations for overnight stays with a couple of trailers, marquees and tents on site so bring a sleeping bag. If you bring a tent then the more the merrier. We all hope that we can see the largest gathering of Europas for many a year and we have invited members of the Swift Group together with our honorary members. Several European Europas have already promised to come so lets see what a turn out we can generate. See you next week. Steve Pitt and Dave Bosomworth PS to anyone turning up by car - can you bring folding chairs and tables if you have these available. Thank you.

Good idea, we will drop the air duct work and take a look at those connections.
