Rough River is one of my best memories too! Pik is of Jim Price's Long EZ o n finals, note speed, 70kts. That's an airplane that cruises 160 kts or mor e.=0AThe other one is Paul McAllister's bird roosting among friends at Rou gh River. The canard meeting is wonderful because there are so many old exp erts attending and willing to share their experience. That's what we need i n the Europa family, there are some experts but a bit scattered still. Just needs a place and time to focus on so don't give up. Rough River may not b e the right place but its a start. Paul & I did a couple of RR meets and Pa ul was inspired to try a Europa one. It can succeed so don't let it fade aw ay! Just remember to bring your own beer and re educate those Kentucky fund amentalists=0AGraham=0A=0A=0A=0A=0A=0A________________________________=0AFr om: JEFF ROBERTS <Jeff@rmmm.net>=0ATo: europa-list@matronics.com=0ASent: Th ursday, 24 June, 2010 16:24:20=0ASubject: Europa-List: Fwd: Rough River up- date #4 Revised=0A=0A=0AWoops... requirement Hi Graham, Agreed on both points. Luc will need to install a Skydrive or similar to satisfy Transport Canada on the carb heat. You do need a press or large vise to install the Skydrive and my own feeling is this is best left to a Rotax dealer as it could really spoil your day if a screw up occurs. I've never picked up any water or crud in my Andair, however a friends filtered out some very strange algae type substance. He realised he had a problem when he noticed the fuel pressure dropping while in flight.
