      Hi

I'm looking for some contact details. Several years ago I had some
upholstery from Matthew who used to live in the south of England and did
the upholstery for the program "A plane is born"

I have lost his contact number and would like to know if he still makes
the upholstery kits and if anyone has any current contact details

      Regards

      David Steade

| Subject: | Tri-Gear Conversion |

      Fellow Europaphiles:

As some of you know, I have converted my Monowheel to Tri-Gear and several folks
have wanted information on the conversion.

I have posted a new Album in my Gallery which covers this conversion. The Album
is NOT a comprehensive step by step guide to the conversion. There were many
places where I wanted pictures but was, quite literally, up to my elbows in
Epoxy, Araldite, FLOX, Fiberglass, Grease or heavens knows what all else and could
not take pics. Still, I think this pictorial work would be helpful when
combined with the Europa Builders Manual and other necessary documentation. It
should also be helpful for those considering the conversion.

I still have great affection for the Europa Monowheel. It is a beautiful aircraft,
especially in flight. And it is a delight to fly. But not to takeoff and
land on hard surface runways with anything more than a light cross wind. I
simply find it far too restrictive in takeoff/landing wind conditions to make
maximum utility of the aircraft as a cross country tourer in the U.S.A.

Especially my heartfelt thanks to Custom Flight Creations for their invaluable
assistance in the conversion process. They come highly recommended in professionalism,
      experience, skill and workmanship.

The work is not complete at this time. I still have a long list of work to accomplish
before N914XL flies again. That work will be documented in the conversion
album as it occurs over the next couple months.

Looking forward to flying into Sun 'n' Fun, Oshkosh & Rough River in 2011!!!

      Best wishes to all,
      Bob Borger

      Hi Dave,

If you go to your local Mercedes dealer wherever you are and ask, they
      will
be able to help for not more than =A315. DO NOT MENTION IT IS FOR AN
      AIRCRAFT.

      Hi Dave,

A quick alteration to my last message. I meant BMW dealer, not Merc. Sorry

I have posted a new Rough River Album in the "Europa Gatherings and DOTHs" gallery
      of the Europa Owners website.

I would encourage others with pictures from Rough River to post them there.

      Fred,

Login to the web site, go to the Rough River 2010 album. On the left side are
a number of options: Add Album, Add Items, etc. Click on "Add Items" and the
"Add Items" page should come up. Click on one of the "Choose File" buttons
and a file browser should come up. Work you way through the file stack to the
folder with your pictures and select the picture you wish to add. Once selected,
you can add a Caption if you wish. Do the same with the next "Choose File"
button. If you want to add more than two pictures at one time you can click
on the "More Upload Boxes..." at the bottom to add more "Choose File" buttons
and Caption boxes. When you have enough pictures selected click on the "Add
Items" box at the bottom and the files should (eventually) be uploaded and added
to the album. To keep upload times reasonable, you should probably not try
to upload more than half a dozen pictures at one time.

      Hope this helps,
      Bob Borger
