Hi Jim and Heather, That's a nice looking pump installation. How do you know when the fuel transfer has been completed? I would like a simple way being notified that the pump has run dry and the fuel transfer complete. As you said, I time it, and also look back at the clear hose and see air bubbles, but I have to remember ! So the pump you are useing does not mind running dry, how will you tell when transfer is complete? By the way, at RR and on the way back to CA I took the LR tank out and went to the local gas station for auto fuel. I can reinstall the 10 gallon tank by myself, not too bad. It sure was nice to meet you folks at RR. Kevin

Good point - would make it a 20 year build instead of a 10 year build. yes I fear that the most sensible option is the tried and trusted Rotax 91X! I am the proud owner of a 912 turbo in a zenith clone and i have to say it has served me well for 250 hours.... Will On 05-Oct-10 02:17, GRAHAM SINGLETON wrote: > Will. I'm afraid that looks like the new 'lower' prices already -I now have the alarming feeling that the most valuable thing I own is a half-finished aeroplane! Cheers Bill Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=314785#314785

Paul, Very well done! I know how you felt having recently done my first flight in April after a very long build, over 10 years, off and on. Now the fun begins. Beautiful aircraft indeed. You should be very proud. This should be inspiration for those still building to get cracking and get 'er dun! Can't wait to see some more pix, (of the cockpit).
