Thank you Remi for this useful list.
The mechanics from the workshop insist its all about fuel pressure.
But how hard can it be to verify this?
I will take my Europa home and check it with patience step by step.

J=FCrgen=2C
You may already have done this=2C but the first thing to check is the fuel
flow to the engine. You disconnectthe fuel hose from the mechanical pump=2C
and then =2C with the electric pump on=2C you pump fuel for 30 seconds int
o a container. From that you compute the fuel flow . If it looks good=2C th
en the problem will either be the mechanical pump or in the fuel lines to t
he carbs=2C or the return line.

You might need to replace your mechanics=2C a lot of them don't understand
Rotax. Check the bleed back restrictor is correctly installed=2C particular
ly check also that the bleed back is after the mechanical fuel pump.

Subject: | Monowheel Brake Adjustment |
Hi Folks,
I've just replaced the brake pads on my Europa. They seem very thick -
compared to the worn ones which were almost down to the rivet heads!
I'm sure it will all go back together OK but I have a suspicion that
they might well up clamping themselves to the brake disc when I tighten
the bolts. Can you adjust the gap between the pads such they don't bind
maybe with a couple of washers as shims?
Anyone else find their pads bind? As I say I haven't actually put them
back on yet and they might be alright - I just want to make sure I have
my bases covered before I head over to the hangar later this week.
Regards,
Martin

Jrgen,
I agree with Graham. You have to go to a Rotax specialist. If you are located in
West Germany I can recommend Cycloon Holland in Venlo. They know a lot about
Rotax.
Good luck!

Martin,- Just tighten the bolts as you would normally do... The pad will
simply =0Apush the cylinders back in the brake housing... Then when you use
the brake =0Alever the cylinders will move against the brake pads and stop
the plane. when =0Ayou release the brake lever there will be no pressure o
n the brake linings, and =0Athe plane can move...=0A=0AJim Brown--=0A
