I have Falcon/EAA and have been very happy. They even reduce the premium every year by a few hundred bucks for increased hours and added ratings. -------- Ira N224XS Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=336161#336161

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a baffle that had broke off in the muffler. It was covering the exhaust pipe inside the muffler. Tur ns out my muffler was only tack welded during the manufacturing. Bottom li ne it caused a power loss at take off, the idle was fine. As I understand it there was a few of the mufflers put out during the early 2000's. I got m y kit in or around 2001. Take a long screwdriver and stick it up the exhaus t pipe. If the baffle is loose and laying over the exhaust you'll know it. Good luck. Scott L. Scott, I will check this too, thank you. To all: It seams that my problem isn't that urgent any more: The only mechanic of the workshop that is experienced with the 912s isn't there this week and my employee quit her job so the real live takes my whole attention now. Thank you all for your kind support I will keep you up to date next week. Juergen Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=336215#336215

    Subject: Wingtip Lights
    From: "Kelvin Weston" <kelv@kdweston.biz>
Hi Are there any UK owners / builders that have a PFA / LAA approved mod for wingtip lights on the XS wing? I will be fitting the Airworld Skyflash streamlined heads but any information would be helpful. There are no LAA standard mods covering this but a repeat mod may be a possibility if I can get the information. I dont want to re-invent the wheel! I wish this type of information i.e. a mods list by aircraft type was available from the LAA, it would enable other builders to make easier mod applications. I have found at least a dozen photos of UK Europas with wingtip lights. Were they all prototype mods? I guess thats how the LAA make up their funds! -------- Regards Kelv Weston Kit 497 kelv@kdweston.biz Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=336222#336222

Hi! Paddy Not this week thanks, I'm sorry on one count, but I was pissed off because the dog died and have decided to join my Son's "squad" in Swedish Lapland (Gallivare)from Saturday morning through to Easter Sunday and bugger the expense to have a break from bad news!
