I have 'phoned Lashenden and they confirm they will honour the free voucher although it has the wrong month on it. It has been sitting with an empty fuel tank for a number of years. I've been reading the postings on swelling and cracking problems with the older tanks. Does anyone have any suggestions/precautions I could take prior to putting fuel back in it that might help prevent these issues ? thanks Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=336302#336302 ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 12:23:15 PM PST US From: "Raymond Wren" Subject: Re: Europa-List: Lashenden voucher Paddy Well done on the detective work - but I've now thrown all my 'March' Vouchers away. So that's April stuffed (unless of course I want to pay!). See you in May then. My opinion is that the time to worry about tank strapping (causing pressure points) is during the build. Maybe someone else has a better idea. After that, try to keep some level of gas in it, to minimize the number of expansion cycles that come with not having any gas in it for awhile. -----Original Message----- From: owner-europa-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-europa-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of egp8111 Sent: Wednesday, April 06, 2011 11:20 AM Subject: Europa-List: fuel tank question I am returning an early Europa(pre 2000) back to service.
