I am currently building XS Hi-top and looking at Europa Flyer 47 wiring diagram
with EXP-Bus module.
Help with sizes of wire required on this diagram would be greatly appreciated.

Subject: | Re: place for venturi -in air duct? |
thanks for the advice. It is appreciated. The point about smooth air is a good
one. I plan to have an electronic centre piece, a gps and moving CAA map.
The thing is, a venturi and vac instrument is such a very simple arrangement; doesn't
need power, software update, emit RF, have parts that go obsolete, be dependent
on a supplier that will disappear, be hard to read in sunlight, have
connections that corrode, wires and components that vibrate off, rely on GPS satellites
and cant be jammed.
The drag caused by a venturi must be tiny based on its forward cross section.

Subject: | Re: Wiring size ? |
I can help with wire gauges if needed. I dont know the diagram you are referring
to.
I would recommend Raychem wire from Farnell or RS components
22 AWG fro signal wiresl
20 AWG for low power circuits (low amps)
18 AWG for higher currents (to 20A)
16 AWG for 30A
I have most of a reel of 18 AWG left from my wiring.
