    Subject: hose clips
Hi Jon, I'm using and have excellent longtime experience with "One-ear Clips" A10RB W1 from Damesa (or Bossad or Mikalor) see attached specsheet; they came in all dimensions and are perfect for our 6 mm and 8 mm fuel hoses. "The use of One-ear clips is an economical solution for many simple hose assemblies, as they can be used with air or other fluids. The inner-ring means that the clamp fits snugly around the hose, while the beveled edges protect the hose from being pinched during fitting. The use of One ear clips with Inner-ring is recommended when working with delicate hoses." normally you can only buy them in industrial quantities... I still have plenty for 6mm and 8mm hoses, which I'm happy to sell! Just let me know! Klaus

Please count me in. I have your briefing sheet and have been copied somehow with the emails to now (26th) Alasdair -----Original Message----- From: David Joyce Sent: Sunday, May 22, 2011 9:23 PM Subject: Europa-List: Day Trip Le Touquet Just a reminder that there is a scheduled trip to Le Touquet this coming Saturday, May 28th (weather willing, of course!). We have 4 takers at present. Anyone else contemplating joining us please be in touch with me & I will send briefing sheet. Le T. has no Avgas available until late summer, but that isn't a problem for most, and a problem that a Jerrycan of Mogas will sort for most of the rest! I can promise great food, even if I cannot absolutely guarantee the weather at the moment! Regards, David Joyce, G-XSDJ 01454 260 542

Remi, we look forward with much interest to hearing details of any faults you find with your ignition circuits. This failure should not be happening. Mike Gamble

That's a great technique thanks Karl! Greg, I think I used clecoes to position the top, and then I had a load of small screws and I put them wherever I could see a gap. After about 5 hours of redux cure I undid the screws about 1/4 turn to make them easy to remove next day. Karl

Great solution, Fred! Time spent here, is less time spent filling later, and less weight of course. I plan to something very similar... Greg

I'll add my 10 cents worth. I had the high MOD and that seem to help when I put the top on, in that, everything was in alignment. I had two helpers and one young one to get inside. I used PVC molding, from the lumber yard, along the whole length with screws, large washers and wing nuts about every six inches. Here are four pictures and the two helpers. As a note I put the landing gear in before installing the top. This caused some problems with the wing pins. I had to remove the pilot's brushing and then re-install them. Both wing pin now go in with no trouble. Having had several attempts at the wing lift pins I need some new 1/4 and 3/16 hex machine screws - of the same characteristics as the originals obviously Can anyone give me a source and part number - I looked on mcmaster but didn't know which ones would be appropriate. Thanks Will
