      Ian,

If it would help you to build up a library of tank dimensions from different
vintages, I can bring you my 1996 tank (subsequently fluorinated by return
to the manufacturer) when I come to Bisley tomorrow.

      Regards,

      Mike

I do not have an accurate CAD drawing of the tank. What I have is attached
      as a PDF.

If you are going to take up Rowland's offer then I will be happy to produce
      an accurate drawing from it.

Bear in mind that the tank has had slight changes with almost every
production batch. The changes I know about involve a ridge across the front
      to reduce the bulging.

      Good evening list

I am working on a little project that may benefit us all, does anyone have a
line drawing of the Europa 65L fuel tank that can be emailed to me, I also
need the dimensions if anyone can get a tank to do this I would be most
grateful, I need all the measurements, including depth of and dimensions of
the saddle part, width, height girth etc!

I look forward your response and to the power of the list....

      Kindest regards

I have just heard that there is to be a David Corbett Memorial event with
the unveiling of a permanent memorial at Shobdon at 2 .00pm on Sunday 26
June (brief details at www.shobdonstrut.com/id22.html ) and have no doubt
that many of his old friends would like to be there. His family will be
present and his plane will be there. It forms part of the 2 day (Sat &
Sunday) Aviation Weekend and Shobdon Food Festival, and a good lunch should
be available, so morning arrival is recommended. PPR is requested.
      Regards, David Joyce, G-XSDJ

If you don't mind that would be a good idea. I will measure it and
photograph and you can have it back almost immediately

      Dear Fred,

      That looks really great!
The wheel fairing could also suit my ship, I believe.
Do you have some sketches, which you could send me?

Now get your bird to the air and have fun.
      All the best,

      Bruno
