there's another way to stop throttle creep.=0AInstead of using the nylon wa

throttle box so that when the throttle is moved the =0Awashers can't rotat
e. =0A=0AAlternatively a long bolt through all the washers would also work.

=0AProblem is the least point of friction is between the AN970 washers and
the =0Anuts, you can tighten up the assembly, and it will still break out,
at variable =0Arates, at that junction.=0AFix :=0AWeld fullnuts to the AN97

rs [ Redux / csk rivets], flat the contact surface of the =0Aplastic dull,
with 180 grit paper.=0AAssemble as Manual, but replace the spacer with wash
ers to shim the lever in the =0Amiddle of the slot, do the inboard nut/wash
er up very tight.Thread on lever, =0A[you might have to thread it on before
you run the first nut up, depending on =0Athrottle box width].=0ADo the ou

I would appreciate a copy of any installation instructions for this mod or
alternatively a reference to a web site. I have recently taken over a nearl

Thank you

Peter
You will find all the Mods at http://www.europa-aircraft.biz/updates/. Then
pick the "Modifications" tab and look down the list for Mod 65. This will
give you the instructions for the first version of the finger brakes using
the Jamar twin cylinder master cylinder. Europa have never published the
revised version of Mod 65 for the Matco cylinders.
If you look in http://www.europa-aircraft.biz/assistance/manuals.php. Then
look for CBM 33T (3) you will find a description of the Matco cylinder
installation but the assembly diagram on page 5 works badly (the levers bind
on the bracket. If you have the Matco cylinders let me know and I will
produce a corrected version for you. You will need to cut one spacer and
add some washers.

We hope to meet up with our American Europa Builders/Flyers.
I've made a note of the cell numbers on the various postings.
Looking forward to seeing you.
