Subject: Baggage Bay Upper Fuselage Attachment
I'm trying to minimise the amount of redux and work needed to get a good job gluing on this top. It aint for some time yet, but I'd like to bond in my extended baggage bay floor, and bulkhead. I can do this but then it sticks up in the breeze acting as a nuisance. I've already layed up flanges on the arched section to mate with the roof, but what I'd really like to do is cut it off, and bond it on later, once the top is on. It will be easy as I'll just redux it in as one piece, and then I only need to do strapping patches both front and back of the cut areas. Does anyone see anything wrong with doing this? From: Tony Renshaw <tonyrenshaw268@gmail.com>
    > Well, it's taken a long while but I seem to have my doors on. Ironically I have a worse outcome on the left door, even though I did it second. I don't think it is actually my fault that it kicks out at the back, and I am tempted to either do massage with a hot air gun but feel it might be quite a hard thing to do properly due to the U shaped internal door section. I'm actually scared to try, however I have thought when I post cure it all I might reverse things and lock in the back shoot bolt, and intentionally distort the door by leaving the front shoot bolt outside of the aircraft. Fingers crossed at 50+ degrees C it might relax enough so I get a square outcome. So, that's the grand plan but I have been reading an article Nigel Charles wrote for the LAAA regarding upgrading a panel, where he talks about warning lights for doors not closed properly. The majority may not have these but it is my luck that if I don't fit something I will lose a door. To this end therefore, I am requesting advice on what type of switch, and maybe where they can be sourced please. Whilst I am at it, I didn't thank those that offered advice as to what I should do to preserve my 7 year old Rotax, still in it's original box. So thanks to them, and same to anyone in advance who can offer learned wisdom re this next issue. Reg Tony Renshaw

Both are true, Expancell is lighter and easier to sand, especially if you =0Alubricate the resin with Cabosil (colloidal silica) and increase the mic ro to =0Aresin ratio. Check it out with a small sample. You'll be amazed ho w much more =0AExpancell will mix into the same amount of resin. The silica seems to reduce the =0Asurface tension of the resin and makes it wet the b alloons better.=0AGraham=0A=0A=0A=0A=0A________________________________=0AF rom: keith hickling <keithhickling@clear.net.nz>=0ATo: europa-list@matronic s.com=0ASent: Friday, 16 September, 2011 7:28:33=0ASubject: Europa-List: ca n one use 'glass' micro for filler??=0A=0A =0AI seem to remember that Europ a also said the thermoplastic filler is easier to =0Asand than the glass mi crospheres (providing you get the mix right).=0A =0AKeith Hickling,=0A =0A- ----Original Message-----=0AFrom: owner-europa-list-server@matronics.com =0A[mailto:owner-europa-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of Alan Burril l=0ASent: Friday, 16 September 20115:32 p.m.=0ATo: europa-list@matronics. com=0ASubject: Re: Europa-List: can one use 'glass' micro for filler??=0A =0AI think the answer may be weight.=0A =0AThe glass version being heavier than the thermoplastic.=0A =0AAlan=0A#0303=0AOn 15 Sep 2011 , at 23:27 , Greg Fuchs wrote:=0A=0A=0A =0A=0A =0AHello wonderful list,=0A =0AI just pur chased 5 lbs of glass micro to be used for filling movable wing =0Asurfaces . I assume IMHO tubeless is not possible because the trim has two halves. Maybe you do not want to glue the halves together... I am looking for a pressure gauge controller /sender unit which will be installed direct to the valve and is small enough to be there. Raimo Toivio From: mau11 Sent: Thursday, September 15, 2011 7:44 PM Subject: Europa-List: Monowheel Main wheel tubeless Does anyone have informations on this subjetc. It is an important topics because with this type of wheel it is possible to install a pressure gauge controller. X-mailer: Foxmail 6, 15, 201, 26 [cn] Hi Raimo, The gap between tire/wheel and Fork is to small the minimum size required is about 50/60 mm. And it is impossible to connect the pressure controller!... It is for this reason I ask this question, with tubless wheel it is possible to include pressure controller into the tire, fixed around the wheel. Michel AUVRAY
