I learned last night that my Europa won "Best Composite" at Sun N Fun last week. I couldn't believe it. Sure makes all those lonely hours sanding a bit more rewarding. The trip to and from Lakeland was amazing too. That's the farthest I have ever flown yet, about 444 nm I think. Had a tailwind going and coming. I saw 130 knots ground speed most of the trip. Weather was good all week. Couldn't ask for a better trip. Hi! Ivor ,/all I have just checked with Skyforce and find that an April Update to the Tracker IIIC card will not include the Olympics restricted Air Space. Seemingly Jefferson are saying it will be in the May 3rd update . So perhaps it is prudent to save an update until the May issue, And go to Friedrichshafen Aero Expo without the current update.? Any comments would be welcome . The payment system resided on our old Europa Club website and the hosting service was withdrawn without warning and before we were able to build a new system that would reside on our new website www.theeuropaclub.org We have encountered technical difficulties in getting the payment system back on line and it could take some weeks to finalise and test the new hosting arrangements. In view of this I am asking all members who normally pay online by credit card to hang on to their money for a few weeks. I will send out another e-mail to notify you when you can make your payments. We are also developing a Paypal member subscriptions system that will act as a fall-back if the technical problems persist. Just a little reminder - the annual subs are now =A325.
