It depends on where you want to mount it really - there are many types of
mounts - flat, angle, arm, ISO mount.
I've used an ISO mount and mounted it in the middle panel - see photo
attached.
I highly recommend anti-glare screen, made a MASSIVE difference! (put on
after this photo)
I'm still trying to find somewhere to stick my 'standby' garmin 496 that
doesn't block the screen.

We use a RAM-mount on a kneecap fixed on the panel that you can see on
the
picture on the upright corner. I shall provide one with the iPad
installed
but not before next week after. Almost 100 hours with no noticeable
issue,
but the fact that the passenger have no access to intercom buttons (just
under the kneecap) from his seat.

Hi Richard,
how about this?
The camera was aproximately there where is my my
head when flying.
The Master ASI is well visible but a skid/ball and
panel=B4s lower port corner not (there are some
fuses, switches and a key),
In the other hand IPad=B4s mount is easily
adjustable so I can turn it 90 degrees if I wanna
see whole panel (but then IPad is not visible).
Notice: this configuration with also a new
TruTrak=B4s Gemini ADI with TCW`s IBBS and Garmin=B4s
35HVS and FDS=B4s FC-10 fuel comp with GPS and only
ONE fuel transducer has not been in the air yet
but tomorrow it will. Wish me luck.
Cheers, Raimo Toivio

Raimo Hi!
Your panel makes a A380 look inadequate!!! You certainly worked hard to make that
configuration fit in. Best of luck with tomorrow's flight!

Hi Gerry,
thanks. I certainly did - this was the situation
during 10th of May (that red is some blood in my
hand - those 3 1/8" holes are a bit tight to
penetrate both hands together towards a firewall -
I envy those panel builders who have an RV-style
direct access and a direct vision to the panel
back side).
I soldered all the wire joints and there were more
than 100 of them. Of course I have to move one
switch (IBBS master) to another place because of
space problems and of course ADI was planned to
instal up and fuel comp down but because of a lack
of space between ASI and ALT they went vice versa
and of course those wires from rpm gauge blow out
(not soldered - those stupid pins only) and it
took 6 hours to fish them back home and of course
also some minor problems like Gemini=B4s wiring
diagram REV A was uncompleted and I had to call
couple of times to Zachs and Lucas to TruTrak and
made a REV B but finally then it worked flawlessly
without smoke since a very first try to give pwr
them. Gemini is also connected to the pitot/static
and now I have a little worry have I managed to
make tight enough joints - that is something which
will be tested tomorrow as are also ALL the rubber
parts front of the firewall - they are brand new
and a fuel system front of the wire wall have a
totally new configuration because of added single
FT-60 "red cube" (I have a fuel return line still
in use).
It is a funny, painful and in some cases also a
dangerous EXP-sickness (to have a kind of a
compulsion to update regularly panel) but always
so fascinating. And those old, heavy and
mechanical gyros AH and DG are finally out.
Will report. And make a dozen new placards...
Cheers, Raimo

Bob - thanks for the advice. I have found a 19/32" to 21/32" adjustable reamer
at a decent price so that seems a good way to creep up on the correct size.

Hi Raimo,
I took a look at your photograph and it looks very nice. I do have one
question though, where do you sit? :)

Hi Paul,
you are right: the panel seems to come closer year by year.
But do not worry, when there is not enough space to sit on the P1 seat,
I can always move to the backseat =93 you remember I have safety
belts ready to use also there...and did not have toys enough as a young
boy, obviously.
BTW Ipad=C2=B4s aps synthetic vision is wonderful. But where is a Flir
/Night Vision...
Cheers, Raimo
