Nice flight pics. Burnham-on-Crouch has shrunk though! The pic is of Althorne,
slightly to the west. Dont try the same trip during the Olympics..

As it seems, it has been all my fault.
I now removed the carbs and inspected them.
The plungers have not been aligned correctly,
I did not glue the carbs into the carb heaters
and the time I had the problem with the low power it was a hot day
with about 28C.
Put that all together and I have to be glad that it flew anyway.
Now I fixed all that and am sure the heat from the carb heaters has nothing to
do with the lack of power.
Due to professional and familiar commitments (family holidays and all the work
that has to be done be for that I can leave my business alone) I may not test
it the next two weeks but then I hope to bring good news to you.
Happy flying!

Graeme - pic 7 is Harwich in the lower half of the picture, with the River Stour
beyond it, then Shotley with the River Orwell beyond that and finally a bit
of the Felixstowe peninsula. Felixstowe town & docks are off to the right of the
picture edge. I learned to fly at Ipswich Airport so all these landmarks are
very familiar to me.

Barry,
Thank you for your explanation...the torquing values called for for
the 8 mm bolts is listed as 2.5 kg*m / 25 N*m. This reads like Greek
to me, but if I am reading this correctly, it would appear that the
loads are well within the bolt spec and I should have no hesitation to
use the bolts which came w/ my superb (by all appearances) propeller.
Your confirmation would be appreciated.

Rick-
I did mine by letter, but it would convert easily to cards.=C2- If you ha
ve a 3300, your first problem will be cooling -- before you get into flight
test.=C2- I will send you my letter, but am not home until June 8 and it
is on my desktop computer at home.=C2- I modified it from one originally
done for a Rotax.

Subject: Europa-List: Flight Test Cards
I was wondering if anybody had developed Flight Test Cards for an Europa XS
tri-gear with a Jabiru 3300 engine. =C2-I found one from Bill VonDane, b
ut it appears to be for a Rotex.
I have an FAA Inspector coming out on Friday so it looks like I'll be doing
my first flight this coming Monday. If he gives me the Airworthiness Certi
ficate and doesn't find anything major wrong with my build.
