Jacques,
Thanks for the link, the AP-60 looks interesting as an audio mixer. This may solve
the issues l have. The aim l have is to hear audio alerts from the Dynon
(D10A, HS34, AP74 and Garmin 795) plus play music from the iPad. The AP-60 would
need to output to my PM-501 intercom aux input so that everything mutes when
the Comm is working.
Regards
JW

I have cut an inlet each side to allow air in just under the knees.
These I have covered by clip on boxes with segmented openings with
segmented circular covers which can be rotated to open or close the air
path which can enter just under the knees.
However I have not flown the a/c to see how it would work.

Carl,
The ultimate ventilator shown below could be installed easily in your
plane. Not sure about your approval to do so and all. I installed them
just below the windscreen, above the fuselage jogle, as close to the
panel module as possible. They are above my knees and I like the way
they are infinitely adjustable. Plenty of air when you want it.
I have seen them installed in the lower corner of the windscreen itself,
too.

The mod Bruno describes is documented on our web site
(http://www.theeuropaclub.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/G-MIME-Vents.pdf
). It is PFA/LAA approved but at present LAA cannot find the paperwork
(or even a number for it).
The ultimate vent is nice (see picture) but expensive.

Subject: Europa-List: Fresh air Vents
Hi,
Does anybody have a mod/ design for a vent that can easily be fitted to
an existing installation.
I believe the front screen is a structural component so can=99t be
altered but presumably the side screens could have a vent installed.
I believe that Spruce and Speciality sells design that can simply be
bolted into a circular hole cut through the Perspex.
For obvious reasons an approved mod would be preferred.
Thanks
