I have just spoken to Brad at Pioneer and he confirms the weight
saving, so I have decided to "invest" in 4kg, based on the fact that I
will need all the weight saving I can get when I eventually fit the MG
wings. He also said that Francis/LAA had assured them they would be
looking favourably on the Mod application for the change on the basis
that the parts were essentially an upgrade from the Europa OEM parts.

I had also bought the MDO brake lever with DOT seals that goes with
the MOD Ian referenced, and so will be selling that (unused) on the
Club Website as soon as the Beringer kit arrives......together I guess
with the original, unused wheel, calipers, master cylinder etc etc...
