Are Binx nuts re-useable? I have just had occasion to take my engine out and wondered
if I am able to re-use the binx nuts on the mount or are they a one use
item like nylok?

A pity I couldn't be there this year due to technical problems, but good to hear,
that it was such a smashing event!
See you all next year for sure!
@zwakie: glad that you had the opportunity to go there by car. It would have been
a pleasure to pick you up on my way , but.....

Richard,
> Are Binx nuts re-useable?
Evidently they are, but as I reported not too long ago, one of mine
unscrewed itself even though it was the first-time use.
A drop of LockTite threadlocker will not harm .............

For this particular application, I can't help but wonder why castle
nuts w/ cotter pins are not called for...

Fred,
Good question. That is normal accepted procedure in the aviation community. Don't
know why it's not done here. Lack of suitable hardware?

Subject: | Still need help finding a fuel cap |
My airplane was made about 2001, serial number A210. I ordered a fuel cap from
the factory, but when I got it it was to small for the receptacle. It is a nice
locking fuel cap with two keys. It used it I'd have to tear out my old receptacle
and install the new receptacle. That's way to much work!
If somebody has not installed their fuel cap and receptacle in their airplane and
is was manufactured close to my serial number I'd like to make a trade.
I'm also trying ACS, but they were talking three weeks to get one and I'm not sure
of the size.

Subject: | Re trim with woodcomp 3000/3W |
I have finally got G-umpy cleared by the LAA to fly with the new prop but with
just me on board it seems to want to roll to the left when hands off. Could this
be due to the wide blade creating more airflow round the fuselage. It was trimmed
up ok on the warp drive fixed pitch and nothing has changed (I hope!).
I can't quite get my head round which way the tab on the rudder should go.

Use 'rudder' trim to fly 'ball centred' then 'aileron' trim to stop any
roll.
