I would like to use a conventional type hitch to nose wheel that has a speed kit. If anyone has any bright ideas, please let me know, either direct on handfordp@aol.com or via the forum. Thank you, Peter. Thank you, Peter. What is wrong with using the prop ? When running it takes a much greater load than you could apply by pulling ! Normally any nosewheel device is used for steering, not for pulling ! Having said all that I have a lug on one side of the nosewheel shaft, which protrudes through a hole in the spat and to which I can connect a long handle with a matching female for the lug. i use it only for steering though ! Too heavy and too long fork to carry on board during flight, but great for pulling and steering. Have also used it for towing through snow behind my car (at the airport only!). When at other airports, I move the aircraft around by pulling/pushing on two propeller blade roots. I will take some photographs and post them on this forum tomorrow afternoon.
