Hi! Sorry for promotional but if it helps you to know we are now setting up
to produce a small quantity of the latest design of clamps.
Now is the time to join the order list should you be interested.
Best regards and wishes to all Europa Flyers for a safe 2013.

Hello Bud,
although much is going on in the discussion concerning fueling/grounding in the
meantime I don't want to miss to thank you for answering my question in a detailed
manner.
As you assumed, I do it the way you suggested it already - but it's peace of mind
to have a confirmation.
Best wishes

Duncan,
I'd be interested to know a bit about what's led to your conclusions
about Smooth Prime...
I've used almost 2 gal. of it on my XS (with most of it being sanded
off of course), and can report that my experiences w/ its roller
application and sanding have been quite satisfactory...but perhaps
I've troubles lurking down the road...?...

Duncan,
Likewise, I am curious as to the issues you had. Initially I used a
roller, but latter I used a spray gun. The paint went on in 2004 and so far
its holding up okay.
I had the same issue of everything "printing through" after about a year,
Cheers, Paul

I used Smooth Prime and Superfil on the Lancair that I built. I had no problems
with either of them, and they were a lot easier to use than the alternatives.
I intend to use them again on my Europa.

Thanks, Dave, David and Frans,
This is very useful indeed. I'll endeavour to have my builder keep the trailer
down below 300 kgs, but he builds strong steel trailers for our potholed roads,
so it may be a challenge.
All best

Bob, please put me on the list.
I have zero play on the original pins, after 600 hours, but it will be good to
have the clamps for the future.... you never know
