Subject: | Torque Tube Clamp Standard Mod 11906 |
All i have had a small batch of clamps machined to a new design. The standard mod
will be updated shortly. The attached document details the changes and shows
the new clamps prior to machining the bores.
The standard mod form is available from the LAA website.
Please contact me for further information if you are interested.
As already mentioned on this forum, Bob H takes all the credit for the clamp idea,
i have just modified slightly.

Hi! Sorry for promotional but if it helps you to know we are now setting up
to produce a small quantity of the latest design of clamps.
Now is the time to join the order list should you be interested.
Best regards and wishes to all Europa Flyers for a safe 2013.

After the wings were painted the holes on w19/w20 don't allign with w18. I
couldn't find a value for how much material I can remove from the brackets
and still be in "limits." I like to avoid sanding down into the paint to
make room for the brackets.
Also on a side note, the top port for the AOA was filled and painted over.
Any tricks to clearing out the hole?
Thank you,
Kyle Phillipson
