Ian has been a great help to me with various technical queries and has definitely gone the extra mile for me. Exceptionally helpful and a totally nice chap! Hope you are feeling better soon Ian. I know that that if I use the "auto calibrate mode" when filling the tank the K factor will gradually adjust, so that after a number of refills the instrument should become pretty accurate. However, to give me a head start, can anyone with a similar set up advise to what value I should set the initial K factor so as to get a reasonably accurate reading? My engine is a Rotax 912S. Many thanks. I also have if for a 912 ULS. I used mine straight out of the box, no adjustments have been required. However, if you do not have the return flow transducer and the differential module, I wonder how your readings may be - with or without adjusting the K-factor. However, the advise from a number of Europa pilots is that with the Rotax 912S you can get away with having a single transducer, as the K factor can take the return flow into account.
