I am just at the stage of getting my medical for this year and wondered if it would
be easier to 'downgrade' my current UK JAA PPL to an LAPL with the less stringent
medical?
Any thoughts?

Richard, the LAPL seems a good alternative to a NPPL but
unless your medical is getting a bit dodgy, I can't see
any benefit over a PPL. Are you going to be flying this

912 ULS engine hoping to keep her but thats not going to happen. She
flies perfect and runs smoother than I ever thought possible. 130 KTS

36600 in the uk.
It looks a beautiful Europa, with a new engine, if I did not have one,
I would give you the money tomorrow .
Over here you could not find one for that price.
