Dave, Nev kept mine nice and thin. I am fitting the wings for the first time today. They are cooking as I type. I've learned a few things and so far, it has been going well. I have to say that if the spar ends up not fitting into the airplane, I have no idea what to do to make it fit. I could not have been more careful. > > I'm using foam panels and a thermostatically controlled heater to keep it at about 25C for the cure. That worked well. Should be able to attempt fitting it into the airplane about Monday. > > This is a huge job, but it seems like each step is fairly straight forward. If you are doing it, gather all the tips from all sources and then plunge in with common sense. Steve...I like your thinking regarding your design for an aluminum fuel tank, but I'm a little confused by the small tank with the large filler at the top. Was this some sort of a trial?...or is it a companion to the large tank? Fred On Nov 13, 2013, at 8:26 PM, hagargs wrote: > <DSCN1436.JPG>

Try McMaster.com. I am sure they have it, but you may need to check if it is made of the right material. Does anyone know a good source in the US for the washer? I've googled the part number and it hits on a UK website only and Europa. Can't seem to figure how to order it from the UK site. IT called for Hardened steel and I did order some from Fastenal, but none of their washers list hardened steel - just "steel". Not sure if that is a washer that will do the job. > > Thanks, > > > Dave Anderson > A227 > Mini U2 > > > Read this topic online here: > > http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=413012#413012 > >
