I checked the plugs and found them all oiled up. All the oil hoses are correctly fitted, and can't see any kinks. the engine has only done 90hrs. All help much apreciated. Cheers Danny. Currently doing some research into where we might base the aircraft. Ideal preference would be to keep it rigged in a hangar but would consider trailering if need be. We expect to be located somewhere north of Edinburgh (near Falkirk). Apart from the obvious ones (ie: Cumbernauld/ Glenrothes), any suggestions? Also does anybody have Justin Kennedys contact details ? Please respond off list if you can help. Will need an inspector too ! I know Justin is on here somewhere cant find him in the member list. Thanks, Carl & Dot G-LABS Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=415050#415050 ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 07:47:07 AM PST US Subject: Re: Europa-List: oil problem From: Alan Burrill First thing. When you refilled the engine did you follow the procedure to get oil round the engine, cooler and filter before starting or just fill the oil tank and then start. It's very easy to connect them outlet to the inlet and vice versa! I did it when fitting an oil thermostat but picked it up before starting. It sounds like you have had a head of oil draining back into the engine. Good luck.
