Hi all
Mine cost a few Euro and works fine since 1999 without energy.

are designed for blind cords. It's simple in flight to reach down and adjust the
tension, which biases in either direction.

Once the rudder was set I found I could remove one side. In my case there
would be no more than 1 lb of pull applied, however the system is capable of
5 or 6 lb, any more than that and I would be looking at overall rigging (uneven
angle of incidence perhaps, or engine mount alignment).

Hi All.
Some wonderful ideas , Blue Tooth, they would all work fine, but for the none builder
my glue on radio servo would do the trick, However a small increase in
weight would be there and I had not thought about balancing, Peter I would not
have a clue how to rebalance the aileron.
So as a more simple measure, what about a small super thin light aluminium tab.
Stuck on with double-sided Velcro, and you could have the tab in two parts,
so when flying one up you could add the other section so having now a larger tab
for compensation.
This would be very light, so I would have a negligible effect on the balancing.
There is a sizeable out of trim force when flying alone compared with a passenger
in the other seat, and this applies to all the Europa's I thing,
Alan
Sorry chaps some advanced ideas, but for me its got to be simple or off the shelf.

Jan
"Europa AL" is probably an abbreviation of the manufacturer's name "Europa A
ircraft Limited" and not part of the aircraft type, which the Dutch register
shows as "Europa", "Europa XS" or "Europa XS TG".

Subject: | Fuel tank outlet connector hose |
This is the rubber hose that clamps over the tank outlet and the
aluminum insert fitting (F09C). The ID of this hose is 1", but my tank
outlet nipple is about 1.15". This is a very rigid and unforgiving
hose, so it is hard to stretch. But even if I could force it I am
concerned if it might put excessive clamping force on the plastic
nipple. Or worse, it may be impossible to remove later without cutting
the tube, and then I might risk cutting into the underlying plastic
nipple as well.
>From the little bit I could gather from the label, this is Semperflex
Multi-Purpose Mineral Oil Hose, 25 Bar max pressure (350psi). This
rating sounds like an overkill to me.
My guess is that the fuel pressure at this point is not going to be
more than a couple of psi so chemical compatibility is more important
than pressure or wall thickness. I was thinking of replacing this with
a thinner more flexible Buna-N hose, but wanted to hear how other
builders solved this problem.
