As supplied, these are fixed together using screws and anchor nuts. Makes sense for something that has to come off infrequently, but not for cowlings. The Katana I fly now has nifty quarter turn fasteners which means you can get the cowling off and on in seconds. Anyone used these on the Europa, and if so, do you have a part no. and source for them? -------- Jeroen http://www.europaowners.org/main.php?g2_itemId=44165 Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=419464#419464 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 04:49:37 PM PST US Subject: Re: Europa-List: Cowling fasteners From: duanefamly@aol.com Have you tried AircraftSpruce? http://www.aircraftspruce.com/categories/air craft_parts/ap/menus/ha/fast_1dzus.html Mike Duane -----Original Message----- From: jglazener Sent: Thu, Feb 27, 2014 2:54 pm Subject: Europa-List: Cowling fasteners I am just starting on the cowlings.
