Here is a link to a good article about hose replacement. http://www.rotax-owner.com/rotax-blog/item/21-rotax-5-year-rubber-replacement-the-installation-considerations Part 1 is on the same website. Most of us use fuel injection hose because it seems to contain gasoline smell better than other hose but it is difficult to fit because it is so stiff. The new carburetor hose mentioned in the article contains the smell and is easy to fit. You will need 3/8 dia hose to go from the pumps to the engine and return to the tank. Roughly 2 10ft runs and an additional 10ft to connect to selector valve and filters. You will also need some 1/4 hose for fuel tank drains, probably no more than 10 feet. The fittings on the engine are metric and fit 5/16 hose. We use 3/8 to 5/16 reducers and short pieces of 5/16 hose for this. For water hoses, the fittings on the Rotax are 17 mm and we have not found English dimension hose that fits correctly. It is difficult to purchase 17mm hose. We ended up getting hose from Rotax. We used 2 Rotax 922 250 hoses. The Europa supplied hose from the water pump has a tight 180 degree bend that is difficult to find in an automotive hose. We purchase that hose from Europa and use automotive hose from the expansion tank to the radiator. Many owners use the silicon water hoses advertised in the Europa Club Flyer. We use ThermoSleeve on all our hoses. This is the material on the hoses from Rotax. You can purchase it high performance automotive suppliers. Hope this helps you plan. I have just done mine and the following links supplied all of the materials i used including hoses, cable clamps and stainless steel tie wraps for the Fireproof sleeves. http://www.firesleeveandtape.com http://www.hcl-clamping.co.uk http://www.hoseworld.com http://www.simtag.co.uk/aircraft I used ISO standard fuel hose which is specified and is fire resistant, I tried to set a piece alight using and blowtorch and failed! I still used fire sleeve over the fuel hoses and the myclick clamps to affix in place as they gave a low profile able to go under the fire sleeve. The only silicon I used was the two water pump hoses and I got them from Europa. All the other water hoses are the 17mm rubber.
