My thanks to Bud Yerly for his detailed instructions on fuel tank installation and fuel tank replacement as well as his encouragement and support. For any of you who are interested, I added an album on this effort to my Europa-Owners site. It is presently the last album (on page 3) of my site. Id like to move it forward to the first page if I can figure out how. I have also added another album of my recent X/C flight from Denton Texas to Ruidoso, NM and back home to the album Subsequent Flights. On the best leg, still without wheel pants or gear leg fairings, N914XL trued out at 125 kts @ 8500 ft, prop set to cruise (5080 rpm) and throttle set at 29 in MAP. Average fuel burn was a bit more than 4.5 US Gal/hr. The 455 mi took 4.5 hrs (one way) for an average speed for the trip of 113 kts. The trip brought out a few small items that need to be fixed but mostly it needs wheel pants, gear leg fairings and fairings on the big fat flap hinges. Blue skies & tailwinds, Bob Borger Europa XS Tri, Rotax 914, Airmaster C/S Prop (50 hrs).
