I've looked on this forum and Internet to find an answer to this question as I'm sure this will have been asked before but I'm unable to find an answer. The build manual refers to the old design where you drill tp10 sleeves o ensure minimum/zero lateral movement of the torque tube. However the new design has pre drilled tp10 plastic sleeves . Therefore no mechanism to remove end float by sizing the tp10 sleeves. I can only assume that this has be achieved during the bonding of tp11 bearings. The new torque Tube is not referenced in the build manual and I can find no modification that introduces it. Am I missing something? Are there any user's on this forum who fly a classic with the original classic cowl's and a Rotax 914 engine? If so how much modification did it take, do you suffer over heating problems due to the compactness or other complications and if you had to do it again would you just go the XS front end route? Also to the classic owners who have fitted the XS FWF why did you choose to go that way? Mant thanks Frank Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=428682#428682
