Hi Tony
I have what is referred to as a "hybrid".
I purchased the wing and tail kit in 1997 and they were of foam core constru
ction, by the time I was ready for the fuselage the XS was in production so I
ended up with classic "foam core" wings and tail and an XS fuselage.
If this is what you have rest assured the combination works just fine
Based in Auckland, welcome to come across and inspect if you wish

Hi everyone,
While staking stock of all the parts, bit and pieces that arrived with my partially
built Europa - which I only learned today has Classic Wings and XS body,
I came across these. Does anyone know what they are?
Your help is appreciated.
Regards,

I cant add too much to this thread but I have just taken possession of A011 that
has an STEC 30 installed. Not flying yet but having trouble finding information
about the installation. Just wondering if anyone has heard of these STEC's
in Europa's.

Gidday,
Due to the Air France pilot strike we are catching the ferry tomorrow back across
the channel, and in Dover or environs for Wed night. Does anyone have any suggestions
for a place to stay, as we depart Heathrow Thurs? Since this is a pilots
forum, and because of those scurrulous greedy AF blokes ruining our chances
for cheap sub load seats, I felt I'd ask the question, pilot to pilot ;-)
Any help appreciated. We just have to kill 24 hours and then find our way to Heathrow,
if possible avoiding London. (Yet to research).

Tony, Look up Dover on www.booking.com which will give you
a complete view of what is available, often at somewhat
discounted prices. The assessments/reviews are totally
reliable in my experience. We use the system extensively
in our European trips. Sorry I am not in that half of the
country or could have offered you accommodation. There are
some interesting places in Kent. Dover itself has a lot to
offer. Canterbury likewise. I have just got back from
staying overnight at the Adobe in Canterbury High Street
(a small choir I am in were singing in the Cathedral on
Monday - quite some experience) That was an excellent
hotel but not cheap.

Tony,
If you want an extraordinary stay I can recommend "Wallett's Court Dover Spa Hotel".
It is about 10 mins from the docks. It is so old that it is mentioned in
the Doomsday Book!!
Super food also.
Ask to stay in one of the rooms in the main house if possible.
It is on Booking.com

Looks to me like two legs off a cheap Chinese gazebo. If you're
intending to fit them you might need a mod approval ;-)

Tony,
My immediate reaction was to say it was the CS01 bottom of the control
column fittings (Section 13), but my manual shows that mine were forked at
the narrow portion.

Hi Tony, welcome to the fountain of knowledge! Im building a classic kit and haven't
come across anything that looks like your photo, sorry. When it comes to
building your wings take a look at europa owners.org page 4 I have some photos
of the building of my wings. Just a taste of what's to come for you. Enjoy,

Tony,
You can go to s-tec.com for information on the S-TEC autopilot systems. You can
probably download documentation and get customer support there.

Geez Tony, I'm SO concerned for you I'm almost sick from worrying.
Fancy having to spend an extra day or two waiting for a free flight home.
It's not fair mate, just not fair!
