Therefore, in a Europa. don't expect more than about a 2C change in OAT reading. At 200 kts, expect roughly 4C -------- Ira N224XS Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=431724#431724 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 03:18:20 AM PST US Subject: Europa-List: Re: Swiss Tony From: "rampil" If at first you don't succeed, try, try again! Continued effort may discomfort both the magazine editors and he who must not be named. It's the least we can do! -------- Ira N224XS Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=431725#431725 ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 03:29:03 AM PST US Subject: Europa-List: Re: toroids for vhf comms aerial cable From: "rampil" Just a quick note from a former electrical engineer: While its true that ferrites are made from a variety of materials, and in a variety of sizes, the actual specs are NOT critical. A ferrite that fits over whichever coax you are using and is designed for VHF frequency work will work fine. This isn't rocket science ;) The ARRL Handbook is a great reference for this subject, and Bob Nuckolls also has information on the topic on his web site. -------- Ira N224XS Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=431726#431726 ________________________________ Message 4 _____________________________________ Time: 03:49:44 AM PST US From: GRAHAM SINGLETON Subject: Europa-List: Burt Rutan the leader This is cool!
